about us

Integrated Behavior Services is dedicated to helping families and children who have been diagnosed with various needs, including autism and developmental issues, through Applied Behavior Analysis.


ABA staff have been trained in evidence based methods that help children improve communication, social skills and behavior.


A personalized plan based on your child's specific needs is created by our Board Certified Behavior Analyst who works closely with your child's health care team and provides family guidance and support.

Melinda J. Hemp-Gardzinski, Ed.S. BCBA, LBA

Melinda (Mindy) is a native of Covington, Virginia, and received her undergraduate degree from Concord University in Elementary Education. She went on to receive her Masters of Science degree from Old Dominion University in 2001 with a concentration in Special Education and received an Education Specialist Degree in 2004 from Virginia Tech.


In 2014, Mindy became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine. She also holds a Post Graduate Professional Teachers' license in Elementary Education and Administration/Supervision.


Mindy has over 20 years of experience in working with children diagnosed with various needs, having provided both in-home and clinical therapy.
